Doing everything for everyone? Use this one-page list to lighten the load

If you're the one who keeps track of everything at home and at work, this free one-page list helps you write down everything you're carrying, see what isn't actually yours, and pick one thing to hand over or drop this week.

How to use it right now

  1. Write down everything you're responsible for this week: jobs, appointments, worries, other people's problems.
  2. Next to each one, write: mine, shared, or not mine.
  3. Choose one thing to hand to someone else, move to next week, or stop doing. Just one is enough to feel lighter.

How this fits with NOBS

When everything feels urgent, your alarm brain reacts to all of it and you end up snappy and worn out. This list gives you the gap: time to stop and decide what's actually yours. It works like the Select step in NOBS.
